Men's BUCS

Players who have already some volleyball experience, or members of other teams that show very fast improvement who want to compete at the highest level possible for a university team. Men's BUCS is a team made of students only. We play in the British University and Colleges Sport - BUCS competition (until season 2007/2008 it was know as BUSA). It is the most important competition at university level. Because of this we travel around the country a lot, where besides playing we have loads of fun. Other indoor competitions we play include the Student Cup, SADVA and SEVA. For more details about these competitions, check here. If you are a full time student, commited and display good skills, you may be invited to become a member.

Team details:
Training times Mondays from 07:00-09:00 AM and Fridays from 17:45 - 20:00 @ Jubilee Sports Hall - JSH
(At least) one circuits session per week Tuesdays/Thrusdays from 18:00 - 19:00 at Jubilee Sports Hall

Requirements for the Men's BUCS team:
Must be a full-time student.
Need to purchase the team kit on top of the volleyball fees.
Must register with SportsRec.
Available to play games on Monday and Friday nights from 6.30 pm (once or twice a month).
Available for most BUCS competitions which are held away over 5 weekends from October to mid-December.
