SADVA - Local League will begin

SADVA local league will begin really soon, on 26th October. This year we have 4 teams competing. We have 2 men's teams, 1 women team and 1 mixed team. More details about the results and fixtures can be seen here.

  • Men's BUCS start on 26th November against Team Southampton A & Winchester Eagles.
  • University ladies start on 30th October against Team Southampton Ladies B & Ordnance Survey Ladies.
  • Men's Development Quad start first on 6th November against Ordnance Survey Y & Roke Manor B.
  • University Mixed (Intramural team) starts later, only next year, in May 2009.


Student Cup

Student Cup is the next competition that we will be involved. It has two phases: qualification round and finals. Both BUCS teams (men and women) will be participate in this competition for the qualification rounds, which probably will happen in November at UWE.

Warwick tournament - 13, 14 and 15 /11/2008

Travel up Friday evening and bust some moves on a dance floor somewhere. Tournament all day on Saturday and then a party on Saturday evening. Return on Sunday (possibly via a Chinese restaurant). As per last year we'll be taking a mix of experienced and novice players. Squads limited to 10 so get in early.

Women's BUCS team will be playing against Bath, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff and UWE.

  • BUCS round 3 - 7/8 November 2009 in UWE, Bristol
